Kaylynn Budreau- 

Kaylynn is 17, going to be 18 in January, and she attends Pennfield High School. She is very interested in philanthropy and the environment so she joined the Climate Change committee to help create a meaningful change by taking actions to bring awareness about climate change. In her spare time, Kaylynn enjoys spending time with family & friends, working out, and reading.

Aiden Saunders- 

Aiden attends Harper Creek High School and is also part of the Harper Creek High Schools’ theatre department as well as their band. In Aiden’s spare time he plays three different instruments, loves to sing, and loves STEM! He hopes to one day become a child/adolescent psychologist. Aiden joined the Climate Change committee because he is worried about the detrimental effects of climate change and its impact on Earth and society.

Sofia Casey-

Sofia is 16 and attends Lakeview High School. She loves the performing arts and drinking lots of coffee. One way that she helps personally with climate change is by buying her clothing secondhand as much as possible; Sofia also works towards getting a business that works to become more carbon neutral! Sofia joined Climate Change Symposium because she cares a lot about the future and helping put together this event to bring awareness about climate change to other students is one way she can try to guarantee that there will be a future.

Treshai Hubbard-

Treshai is 17 years old and attends Battle Creek Central High School and plays soccer for Battle Creek Central’s varsity soccer team. Treshai enjoys reading, playing soccer, and if she has time she practices coding. She joined the Climate Change Symposium committee because she thinks it is very important for everybody to be informed about climate change.

Sydney Fraley-

Sydney is 16 years old and attends Union City High School. Sydney takes part in many clubs like Union City’s Spanish club and their Dungeons and Dragons club; she also has a large passion for music and plays the oboe as well as the ukelele. She joined Climate Change Symposium because climate change is a topic that has always interested her and she wanted to do something that would genuinely make a difference.

Natalie Muday-

Natalie is 16 years old and attends Delton Kellogg High School. Natalie has a passion for art as well as photography, she also enjoys watching movies and hanging out with her friends in her spare time. She also has an interest in mental health and bringing awareness to it. Climate Change Symposium is important to her because the climate is a necessity for life, from growing crops to city planning.

Dominic Hammond-

Dominic is 16 and attends Lakeview High School, he is also part of the Lakeview High Schools’ theatre department. Dominic joined Climate Change Symposium because he wants to help save humanity and our planet Earth. In his spare time, he enjoys baking, listening to music, biking, and playing video games.

Larsen Morehouse-

Larsen is 18 years old and attends Marshall High School. She is a part of the cross country team, the robotics team, and volunteers with the Albion Girls Who Code group.  In her free time, Larsen enjoys being outside either hiking, skiing, or kayaking.  She joined Climate Change Symposium because she enjoys the outdoors and feels the symposium is a good way to educate other students and teachers about climate change.  

Connor Wolverton-

Connor is 15 years old and he attends Union City High School. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess, playing the guitar, and loves listening to any genre of music. Connor joined the Climate Change committee because he feels it is his most impactful use of time at the Battle Creek Area Math and Science Center so if he can help contribute to an event that helps educate and inspire other students then he will be doing more for the world working with the team than he could on his own.

Alexandria Little-

Alexandria is 17 years old and attends Harper Creek High School. She enjoys swimming, painting, and reading. Alexandria joined Climate Change Symposium because she wants to help other students learn more about climate change and the effects it has on Earth.
