She is committed to conservation such as stopping biodiversity loss and saving our planet through halting climate change, whilst respecting indigenous peoples, and highlighting Global Climate Justice as it intersects with Climate Change Action.

Dr. Hansen is best known for his testimony on climate change to congressional committees in the 1980s that helped raise broad awareness of the global warming issue. He was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 1995 and was designated by Time Magazine in 2006 as one of the 100 most influential people on Earth.

as our Keynote Speakers

The 2021 High School Climate Change Symposium was a Great Success.

  • If you missed any sessions, links to recordings of them can be found here

  • We look forward to seeing you all next year, check back in as more information is posted.

For many of us, Climate Change does not play a major role in our classrooms. There are many reasons for this. By attending this symposium, you will learn how to build this important topic into your curriculum.

If you want to learn more about climate change, its impacts, and how to take meaningful action to address it, this event is a must for you.  Take a look through the sessions that will be available to us.

Thank you so much for lending your time and expertise to this event.  High school students crave information on this topic, and will find the time they spend with you very useful.  For important day of information, please click the link at the top of this box.
